Anoushka Shankar Says ‘No’ to Zoos

Just when we thought we couldn’t possibly be bigger fans of longtime PETA pal Anoushka Shankar, she gives us one more reason to be wild about her. Wearing an outfit designed by famous designers Sandeep Khosla and Abu Jani and peering through iron bars next to the tagline “Exotic Animals Belong in the Wild, Not in Zoos”, Anoushka appears in a brand-new PETA ad. The ad, which was shot by ace photographer Dabboo Ratnani, is Anoushka‘s way of raising awareness about the thousands of animals who lead miserable lives in zoos all across India.
Why is this “sitar hero” growling mad about the conditions in Indian zoos? For years, Indian zoos have been in a dilapidated state. Rife with animal abuse and neglect, statistics show that every year, 10 to 15 per cent of the animals in India’s more than 250 zoos die. When Anoushka Shankar learned this, she readily agreed to do her bit for animals by imprisoning herself.
Zoos promote the myth that they educate the public and help to preserve endangered species, but nothing could be further from the truth. Most zoo enclosures are too small for their occupants, and the labels do not give any valuable information to the public. Animals exhibit abnormal, neurotic, and self-destructive behaviour because of the physical and mental frustrations of extreme confinement, barren enclosures, and the inability to do anything that comes naturally to them, like running, climbing, foraging, picking a partner, or being with others of their own kind.

Shahrukh Khan to lip-lock Kareena Kapoor in Ra one

Bollywood Superstar Shahrukh Khan might have carried the tag of being a romantic hero for decades but the king of romance had never lip-locked with any of his co-actress in his long tenure of acting career. He has maintained his no-kisser image for long time. But now, Shahrukh Khan has decided to shed his shy image and kiss his ladylove Kareena Kapoor (Bebo) in his upcoming Bollywood Movie ‘Ra. One’.
It is rumored that for a romantic track in ‘Ra. One’, Bebo and SRK will indulge in a deep smooch.
When contacted, an insider from the film says, “The buzz about them having smooched is very strong indeed. There have been so many queries on this kiss so far, but sorry we can’t divulge anything related to the film at all.”
However, a close friend of the superstar rubbishes the rumor, “No way!” says the source. “Shah Rukh’s never ever done it before. It’s a promise he’d made and he won’t break it for anything. Besides, he’s never had to resort to kissing-on-the-lips for his romantic image. He’s definitely not doing it now!” added the good friend.
However, the authenticity of the bollywood report will be vivid clear once the film hit the theatre this Diwali.

Anushka-Ranveer caught smooching! kissing photos

“Me and Ranveer can never be boyfriend girlfriend,” said actress Anushka Sharma on the chat show Koffee With Karan, where Ranveer Singh was the other guest on the couch. The entire episode proved that the couple share a very peppy relationship and are no more than good friends, who keep fighting with each other.

However, according to the recent reports, the couple were spotted smooching each other at Shahid Kapoor's Birthday party. Ranveer and Anushka, who have been hiding their affair, have finally decided to go public about their relationship.

The pair came together for the bash and were seen holding each others hands throughout the party. Later at night the couple were sizzling on the dance floor. Till then no one in the party thought them to be more than good friends. It is then when the couple surprised the guests out there by a passionate lip-lock in public .

This episode has become a talk of the town in Bollywood industry. Well, looks like love is in the air for Anushka and Ranveer.

Shruti hassan dating with siddarth soha ali

 If sources are to be believed, Kamal Haasan's daughter Shruti, who has returned to her hometown Chennai after the failure of her debut movie Luck to concentrate on her singing career, is painting the town red with Rang De Basanti actor Siddharth.

"Shruti and Siddharth have been spotted together many times," said a source. "They look very comfortable with each other. Sid and Shruti have had many lunch and dinner meetings and have even been arriving at parties to dance the night away."

Apparently papa Kamal knows about his daughter's love interest and has no problem with her relationship despite the fact that she is still trying to make it big in movies and her affair might damage her career prospects. "Kamal likes Siddharth a lot and adores his acting," says the source.

Siddharth has clearly got over his failed romance with Hindi film actress Soha Ali Khan. "Siddharth and Soha had a relationship for around a year and when their affair ended, Siddharth was heartbroken. He took around a year to recover. Soha has moved on and is said to be dating Kunal Khemu. Siddharth has also got Soha out of his system. Shruti and Siddharth were introduced at some filmi party down South and now they are quite the talk of the town." 

While Siddharth could not be contacted for comment, Shruti Haasan denied that she was romantically involved with the RDB star.
