Sussanne Khan to kiss Hrithik Roshan's ‘wax statue’
Sussanne Khan to kiss Hrithik Roshan ‘Wax Statue’: Sussanne Khan was so moved after seeing the waxed replica of her husband Hrithik Roshan at Madame Tussaud’s Museum in London that she couldn’t resist kissing the statue.
Hrithik himself was moist-eyed after seeing the statue. He said it was a memorable moment for him because his entire family - papa Rakesh Roshan, mom Pinky Roshan, wife Sussanne, two kids and even his grand pa J Om Prakash - was there to share it with him.
“I am thrilled that my entire family is with me sharing this wonderful moment. More than the wax figure it's a matter of emotions and pride that my family is there to see all this today. It is made up of what I have received from my parents, grandparents, sister and wife. They have made me what I am. I dedicate this to my family,” Hrithik said at the unveiling.
Meanwhile, check out more stills from the unveiling and the making of the statue here.

Agneepath Remake: Hrithik-Priyanka to play most intense passion!
Agneepath Remake: Hrithik-Priyanka to play most intense passion!: Karan Johar promises passion play like never before between Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra in his upcoming remake of Agneepath, which he will produce.
The movie will have Hrithik reprising the role of the angry man immortalized by Amitabh Bachchan in the original film by Mukul Anand. Priyanka, however, will not play a nurse, Big B’s love interest in the original played by Madhavi. There have been rumours that Priyanka’s character has been changed from a nurse to a prostitute, but Karan Johar denies it.
What he confirms emphatically is that there’s going to be a smouldering chemistry between Hrithik and Priyanka in the film.
“The new 'Agneepath' is first and foremost an intense love story. There was love between Priyanka and Hrithik in 'Krissh'. But here we want an unparalleled intensity between them. You've never seen Priyanka and Hrithik get so intense with anyone before,” Karan Johar is quoted as saying by a news agency.
The original film, made in 1990, was produced by Karan’s dad Yash Johar.

Tit for Tat from Hrithik Roshan to Salman Khan
Tit for Tat from Hrithik Roshan to Salman Khan: Now, this squabble keeps rolling up again and again. After making peace with Salman Khan recently, Hrithik Roshan has taken a fresh potshot at the superstar.
It all started with Salman’s allegedly derogatory comment on Hrithik’s film Guzaarish (Sallu apparently mocked that not even a machchar went to see the film), with Hrithik riposting that success should make a star (Salman, in this case) humble rather than cocky, a comment that clearly did not go down well with Salman.
The two hugged and patched up at Sohail Khan’s birthday bash but Salman later called Hrithik - quite condescendingly at that - “a child”.
In response Hrithik laughed off Sallu’s barb but is now reportedly to have sniped at him while appearing on Koffee With Karan.
Talking about Salman, Hrithik is reported to have told Karan: “Salman thinks that the world is conspiring against him, but that's not true. We all love him... I don't want to use this as a medium to comment on Salman.”
Also, it’s no secret that Hrithik has been bonding big time with Shahrukh Khan, whom Sallu regards as a foe despite the former sending feelers of reconciliation.

Hrithik Roshan again pairs up with Shahrukh Khan
Hrithik Roshan again pairs up with Shahrukh Khan: Hrithik Roshan's ten year old wish has finally been realised.
The actor has waited for this moment for a decade. His patience has finally paid off.
The grin on Hrithik's face gives away the excitement that he is experiencing these days.
It is worth to mention that Hrithik shares a special bond with fellow actor Shahrukh Khan. The two had worked together in Karan Johar's film KABHI KHUSHI KABHIE GHAM almost a decade back. Since then, Hrithik had been looking forward to share screen space with SRK again. Though, some projects came up such ideas, but nothing ever materialised.
But, with DON 2, Hrithik has realised his wish. The actor has finally got a chance to pair up with SRK once again. The shooting of DON 2 - THE CHASE CONTINUES is on at the moment and Hrithik is finding it hard to conceal his excitement which is so infectious to be missed.
Sharing Hrithik's excitement in no lesser way, let's hope DON 2 is a better outing than his last date with SRK a decade ago.

Most Desirable Stars of 2010: Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif
Most Desirable Stars of 2010: Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif: Do you desire the 'Greek God' look of Hrithik Roshan and the zing that Katrina Kaif brought in with “Sheila Ki Jawani”, at least India does. In the online voting carried out by the National Daily ‘Times of India’ and the channel ‘Zoom’ over 3.1 lakh votes were registered and India has decided to confer the tile of Most Desirable Man of 2010 to Hrithik Roshan and Most Desirable Woman of 2010 to Katrina Kaif.
The poll showcased top 50 Men and Women in their respective categories and Katrina Kaif seemed pretty comfortable staying at the numero uno slot for the consecutive second year. The beautiful Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had to be satisfied with the number two in the list and following her in number 3 is Priyanka Chopra.
Sexy Deepika Padukone is at number 4 while the actress who brought in the size zero fad Kareena Kapoor is at 5. The chirpy Genelia D’Souza edges past the fashionista Sonam Kapoor as the latter stands at number 7 and D’Souza at 6. Rounding up the top ten of the list of the Women’s category are Bipasha Basu (8) Kangna Ranut (9) and Nicole Faria Miss Earth (10).
On the other hand, in the Men’s category of ‘Desirability List’, last year’s winner Ranbir Kapoor slipped to number 3 and Salman Khan claims the number 2 and Hrithik the number 1. Even 2008 winner John Abraham had to satisfy himself at 5 while Shahid gets a slot above him at 4 with his Kaminey bare act. Shahrukh Khan is at 6 while Akshay Kumar and Arjun Rampal are at number 7 and 8 respectively. Imran Khan and Saif Ali Khan wraps up the top 10 with 9 and 10 positions in the order.
But the top 50 list of ‘Most Desirable’ was quite a stunning one with full of surprises.

Kangana Ranaut reject offer for Hrithik’s ‘Krissh’ sequell
Kangana Ranaut reject offer for Hrithik’s ‘Krissh’ sequel: When Hrithik Roshan and papa Rakesh Roshan approached Kangana Ranaut for Krissh sequel, the actress politely turned down the offer. Why?
The buzz is that Kangana was the first choice for second lead opposite Hrithik, who will again don the superhero garb for the sequel to the hit Krissh. The Roshans apparently asked Kangana for a role that is on the lines of catwoman. Yes, a super-heroine! Though the offer looked lucrative, Kangs has vowed not to play the second fiddle anymore. Krissh has Priyanka Chopra as the main actress.
Reports also have it that the Roshans tried to woo the actress by telling her that the role requires a lot of action and that it’s written keeping her in mind, but Kangs remained unperturbed. She has played second lead in some of her recent flicks and hasn’t benefited at all. Kangana was even kept out of the promotions for Kites while the whole attention was on Barbara Mori.
Thus, no catwoman stint for Kangana!

Hrithik Roshan celebrates 36 birthday today
Hrithik Roshan celebrates 36 birthday today: The year could not have got off to a more rollicking start for Hrithik Roshan. He celebrates his 36th birthday today.
And, yesterday he was crowned The Times' Most Desirable Man of 2010 in an online poll on www.itimes.com driven by zoOm that saw the actor fighting off a stiff challenge from Salman Khan and Ranbir Kapoor among other macho and, well, desirable Bollywood heroes. I called up Hrithik at night to congratulate him. He was busy putting his kids, Hrehaan and Hridhaan, to bed!
"I do this whenever I am in town because they wait up for me," explained the Most Desirable Man in a hushed voice. He was delighted with the honour, naturally. "It feels great, because last year two of my films didn't do well, to know that I'm still wanted... it's a good feeling," Hrithik admitted. He has his own interpretation of what 'Desirable' means. "I believe I am a reflection of the potential in all of us," he said, "and if you can recognise that in me, then it is upto each one of you to work hard and in a committed and consistent manner to be what you want to be. I am just a symbol, an artist in the business of selling dreams, the manifestation of one who has travelled the mile to achieve what he desires."
This, from an actor who delivered two turkeys at the box-office in 2010. "I have my own theories about Kites and Guzaarish," he said defensively. "I am not disappointed, it was a milestone year, I am filled with a sense of deep gratitude. I took two of the biggest risks. I went where the brave dare not go. With Kites, I tried to cross the language barrier, and I have learned a lesson; but with Guzaarish, I attempted what no star would do, and it was a gratifying experience. I am used to audiences throwing coins, dancing, for my films. Here, at the end they stood up in silence and clapped.
I got teary-eyed hugs in silence from strangers that said beautiful things. I have never had this experience in my 10 years of cinema. I would be ashamed to complain that the film didn't do well. Sometimes art has to exist without profit and loss. I agree, there has to be certain economics to filmmaking, and there's no reason to take this experience and treat it as a failure; because Guzaarish added to people's lives, it changed my life, I have never felt so deeply about any of my previous works. I try to imbibe the positive qualities from all the characters I play. But from Ethan (his character in Guzaarish), I've realised what life is all about. That pain has such a beautiful meaning, that our shortcomings and misery are the wind beneath our wings, they help us to carry on till we get flight."
That Hrithik Roshan is now flying, I have no doubt. He has put 2010 behind him, and this year he has two exciting films to look forward to - Zoya Akhtar's Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and Karan Johar's remake of Agneepath, both of which have roles he's never done before. "That's how I enjoy my work, I am an extremist, I hate monotony," Hrithik said. In Zindagi..., he plays the guy next door, there's no emotional confrontation, no fight in his life. And life itself is a beautiful journey in Spain with three people discovering themselves. But Agneepath is the other end of the spectrum. "Grit, revenge, emotional turmoil, it's all there," he said with feeling.
But this is also Amitabh Bachchan's 1990 National Award-winning role as Vijay Dinanath Chauhan for Yash Johar in the original film. Big shoes for Hrithik to fill. "It would be stupid, preposterous, for me to suggest that I want to immitate him," Hrithik said. "His was one of the best performances in the history of cinema, and the film is one of my favourites, so I am going to give it my best shot. But our characters in the films are as different as our personalities are. And no way am I going to give anybody reason for comparison. When I signed Jodhaa Akbar, people said I had signed my death sentence, because Akbar was moulded in Prithviraj Kapoor's personality. Even well-wishers cautioned me against taking up the challenge. Eventually, when the film was released, nobody even compared the performance; because Prithviraj was magnificent as Akbar, but Ashutosh Gowarikar's Akbar was endearing and enjoyable as well. Ultimately, you have to trust your director."
He wakes up to a new year, today. In which, he told me at night, he wishes to be "from sunrise to sunset" as healthy, energetic and flexible as he can so that he may "jump on the bed and play with the kids". Which is a strange request from the man rated yesterday by The Times 50 Most Desirable People of 2010 poll as being blessed with "dropdead gorgeous looks and a Greek God body". For which he worksout religiously first thing in the morning and last thing at night. "Why waste the day," Hrithik asked, "I start with cardio, I do some Yoga, stretches that keep my knees and back on track, and at night I do weights. In the middle, I burn calories through my grey cells!" But the wear and tear of being the Most Desirable Man has also taken its toll on Hrithik Roshan. "I don't have the knees I was born with," he laughed, "and it requires about 30 minutes of maintenance daily for me to, well, take this in my stride. But I do it naturally now... it's like brushing my teeth."

King SRK to work with Hrithik Roshan in Krrish 2?
King SRK to work with Hrithik Roshan in Krrish 2?: Shahrukh Khan seems to be in love with action genre. After his home production Ra.One and his upcoming release Don 2, the actor will reportedly be seen in the sequel to the 2006 superhit film Krrish. According to reports circulating in the media, Shahrukh is joining the star cast of Krrish 2 as one of the film’s negative characters.
Though nothing has been confirmed on an official basis, with director Rakesh Roshan refusing to comment, a source has revealed that SRK has given the nod to do the film under the condition that the Hrithik Roshan starrer releases after his own superhero flick Ra.One.
Media speculations say that it is the new-found friendship between the actors that has culminated into their association in Krrish 2. While Shahrukh and Hrithik Roshan had been termed as rivals during the start of the latter’s career in Bollywood, all the rivalry is a thing of the past. Gauri Khan and Sussanne Roshan, the wives of the stars, are very close friends and it is they who keep their husbands bound to one another.
Shahrukh has been heard praising the acting skills of Hrithik Roshan especially after his performance in Guzaarish. Hrithik Roshan too makes it a point to seek the advice of his senior on professional matters. Also, both families are regularly spotted at each other’s parties.
While reports claim that SRK is already a part of Krrish 2, Rakesh Roshan has said that he has not started casting for the film, as it is still in the scripting stage. Rakesh doesn't want to comment on Shahrukh Khan’s involvement in the future project.
Guess we will have to wait and watch.

Hrithik Roshan Can make SRK chuck his Original Sin?
Hrithik Roshan Can make SRK chuck his Original Sin?: Shahrukh Khan is renowned for his addiction with cigarette and even though the King Khan knows the dangers of puffing the smoke, he hasn’t been able to throw it off. In fact, he is pretty much reputed for his chain smoking habits.
But Duggu aka Hrithik Roshan has a Guzaarish for SRK. Reportedly, Hrithik is all set to ensure that SRK dumps his stick and leads the life of a non-smoker.
Hrithik, himself, had got addicted to cigarettes while filming for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Guzaarish’ that wanted him to inhale the nicotine.
But he had vowed to throw his habit off after the release of the film and true to his oath he has rid himself of the sin. Now, if anyone offers him a cigarette, he not only throws it off but crushes it mercilessly before trashing it.
Hrithik is now leading a healthy life and inhaling the fresh air. And it is thanks to his disgust for the stick that he has even made actor Arjun Rampal get rid of the habit as well.
Arjun has now asked Hrithik to make SRK quit smoking- a task that is deemed next to impossible and daring Roshan junior has taken up the challenge. It is to be seen if Dhoom 2 actor can conjure up some magic and make the Badshah get rid of his original sin.
