While revealing her topless image for her favourite team, Rozlyn Khan says, “I love Team Chennai and Dhoni. They are simply the best! I really thought they would win, but my dreams have been shattered with their loss. Nevertheless, I would like to dedicate my affection towards the team. I am sure they will bounce back in next edition of IPL, but before that they will create history in the Champions League. What I am doing is a small token of appreciation for their efforts.”

It is said Rohit Shetty, the man behind Golmaal series, is planning to remake the funniest Hindi films of all times Angoor with Shahrukh and Kareena in the lead roles.

The news has it that Rohit Shetty is roping in Shahrukh for the role played by Sanjeev Kumar and Kareena for the role played by Moushumi Chatterjee in the original. It is also said that Tusshar Kapoor would play Deven Varma’s role in this comedy film.

“After he made Golmaal 3, everyone was wondering what Rohit Shetty’s next plans were. People were guessing if he would make a fourth sequel but the director surprised everyone by choosing to work on an Angoor remake. That he decided to work with Shahrukh Khan on this came as a real shocker. It seems that Rohit is now wanting to work only with A-listers,” Mumbai Mirror quoted a source as saying.

Vidya Balan again bagged the award for Best Actress for Ishqiya. Karan Johar won the Best Director award for MNIK. The Jury Award for Best Actor and Actress, however, went to Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai for their performances in director Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Guzaarish.

Once again Ranveer Singh of Band Baaja Baaraat picked the Most Promising Debut (Male) award and Sonakshi Sinha won the best debutante award for Dabangg. Her dad Shatrughan Sinha was given the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Shahrukh Khan leads in Filmfare nominations: Shah Rukh Khan starrer “My Name Is Khan” Thursday got the maximum Filmfare nominations including best actor, best director for Karan Johar and best actress for Kajol.Other nominations include best film; best music for Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy; best lyricist for Niranjan Iyengar for the songs “Sajda” and “Noor-E-Khuda”; best playback singer (male) for Adnan Sami and Shankar Mahadevan for “Noor-E-Khuda”, and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan for “Sajda”; and Best singer (female) for Shreya Ghoshal for “Noor-E-Khuda”.

In a neck-to-neck race is Salman Khan’s corrupt cop saga “Dabangg” that has earned six nods for best film; best director for debutant Abhinav Kashyap; best actor for Salman; best music for Sajid-Wajid and Lalit Pandit; best lyrics for Faiz Anwar’s “Tere mast mast do nain” and best playback singer (female) singer for Mamta Sharma’s rustic rendition of “Munni badnam hui”.

Others to follow suit in the best film category are “Band Baaja Baarat”, “Peepli live” and “Udaan”.

Competing in the best director slot are also debutant Maneesh Sharma for “Band Baaja Baarat”, Sanjay Leela Bhansali for “Guzaarish”) and debutant Vikramaditya Motwane for “Udaan”.

Also in line for the best actor in a leading role award are Ajay Devgn for his performance in “Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai”, Hrithik Roshan for “Guzaarish” and Ranbir Kapoor for political thriller “Raajneeti”.

The best actress has competitors like Aishwarya Rai (”Guzaarish”), Anushka Sharma (”Band Baaja Baarat”), Kareena Kapoor (”Golmaal 3″) and Vidya Balan (”Ishqiya”) vying for the crown.

Rubbing shoulders in the best actor in a supporting role (male) are Arjun Rampal, Manoj Bajpayee and Nana Patekar for “Raajneeti”, Arshad Warsi for “Golmaal3 “, Emraan Hashmi for “Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai” and Ronit Roy for “Udaan”.

The best supporting actress (female) award has nominees like Amrita Puri (”Ayesha), Kareena Kapoor (”We Are Family”), Prachi Desai (”Once Upon…”), Ratna Pathak Shah (”Golmaal 3″) and Supriya Pathak Kapoor (”Khichdi - The Movie”).

The best music award has composers like Pritam Chakraborty for his score in “Once Upon…”, Vishal-Shekhar for “Anjaana Anjaani” and “I Hate Luv Storys”, and Vishal Bhardwaj for “Ishqiya”.

Best lyrics category also has stalwart Gulzar for “Dil to bachcha hai ji” and Vishal Dadlani for “Bin tere”.

In the playback singer (male) category, those nominated are Mohit Chauhan for “Pee loon”, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan for “Dil to bachcha hai ji” and Shafqat Amanat Ali Khan for “Bin tere”.

While in the best singer (female), those tussling it out are Shreya Ghoshal for “Bahara”; Sunidhi Chuhan for “Sheila ki jawani” and “Udi”.

The 56th Idea Filmmfare Awards 2010 will be held here Jan 29.

While hosting the Star Screen awards last week, SRK cracked a joke on the anatomy of yesteryear actresses, primarily Zeenat Aman and Asha Parekh who were seated in the front row along with Rekha and Hema Malini.

The joke about the former divas’ figures could have ticked the ladies off. But guess what? They had been informed about the joke before the show and had happily given their nod of approval.

Zeenat says that joke by SRK was not derogatory. She also maintains that there’s no harm in laughing at oneself once in a while.

Aishwarya Rai refuses dance with Shahrukh Khan: Last week, Aishwarya did the unthinkable. At an awards function she refused to dance with SRK to Kajra Re. Says an eyewitness, "Shah Rukh had planned a gig around Bollywood heroines over the years and he wanted it to conclude with Aishwarya's performance.

He had planned to dance with her to Kajra Re. But Ash refused. Her argument was that Kajre re was a family song and that she performed the number in Bunty aur Babli only with her father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan and husband Abhishek and that she will not dance to that song with anyone else.

No amount of persuasion from the organisers helped her change her mind. Finally, Shah Rukh had to scrap this plan."

In the past Aishwarya has never been intimidated by any of the three Khans, even if it meant heavy professional losses for her. When she turned down Mangal Pandey, Aamir Khan apparently stopped all communication with her. Thereafter, the only time Ash shared screen space with him was for a fleeting cameo in Dharmesh Darshan's Mela.

Her experience with Salman of course was another story. Ash sent out a press release in 2003 stating she would never work with him again. The release stated, "For the sake of my well-being, sanity, my dignity and the self-respect of my family, I will not work with Salman Khan anymore.

I maintained a dignified silence but he attacked the dignity of my family and me with irresponsible rumour mongering. I stood by him, enduring alcoholism, misbehaviour, and in turn I was at the receiving end of abuse, infidelity and indignity."

With Shah Rukh, Aishwarya's rapport can at best be described as chequered. During Devdas they bonded superbly. But later, Ash was ousted from Chalte Chalte and replaced by Rani Mukerjee after Salman disrupted the first schedule of the film.

Over the years, SRK and Ash were beginning to share a comfort level. But after the latest episode, one wonders if the Devdas duo will ever see eye to eye again.

She revealed that the 56th Idea Filmfare Awards 2010 news conference held yesterday (Jan 10) that she had a crush on King Khan.

“I have a crush on Shahrukh Khan since forever. So, I would love to romance him on screen. Shahrukh is an eternal romantic and you can’t get better than that,” she proclaimed.

Income Tax: Shahrukh Khan faces Rs 17.84cr gift Scandal: The Income Tax (IT) department summoned Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan (SRK) over Signature Villa on Palm Jumeirah in Dubai. The gift valued Rs 17.84 crore.

According the media report, the 'gift' was originally the reward of promoting Nakheel Public Joint Stock Company which reportedly handed over the villa to the Khans.

The company, however, confirmed the IT department in Oct 2010 that SRK did not provide any professional services to the company

As Times of India reported, according to a notice issued by the IT department on Dec 27, 2010, Nakheel has been using Khan's name for endorsing its Palm Jumeirah project since 2004 on its official website as well as electronic and print media.

The notice issued by the IT department claimed, "The company is an artificial juristic person devoid of any natural senses such as love and affection. This rules out the concept 'natural love and affection' and 'without any consideration' which are vital elements to characterize the gift."
