Koffee With Karan: Lara Dutta and Mahesh Bhupathi as guest - Pics: There is something about Koffee and its aroma that entices the celeb guests to speak their heart out. Karan Johar, an expert in brewing that Koffee, had a candid tete-a-tete with Lara Dutta and her fiancé, ace Tennis player Mahesh Bhupathi, for his show Koffee With Karan. This was the couple’s first appearance on a TV show.

So, what was the highlight of the episode? The chemistry between the couple and the revelation that a serious-looking guy like Mahesh can also crack jokes. The high point of the episode was when Mahesh tells Karan that he calls Lara a “serial killer” as the lady had done quite a few romantic scenes in her films. Lara was taken aback but was quick to rejoin that this title belongs exclusively to Emraan Hashmi.

The couple talked openly about their relationship and how they are completely smitten with each other.

Lara Dutta's Wedding: no invitation for exes!: Lara Dutta weds tennis ace Mahesh Bhupathi next week and guess what, the actress hasn't invited exes! The wedding which is to be held in Goa on January 17, is expecting around 300 guests and Dutta's ex-flames Kelly Dorjee and Dino Morea aren't one of them.

Well, to be honest, we're a bit surprised too, Lara had said that she was still good friends with both her exes Dorjee and Morea on Karan Johar's chat show Koffee With Karan. In fact, for Dorjee, Lara even said, "I will always care very deeply for Kelly." Clearly, not enough to call her boyfriend of 10 years to her biggest day. Kelly Dorjee was not avalailable for comments, reported Mid-Day.

For Dino, Lara just said, "Dino and I are friends from school and shared (note the past tense) a very good equation." Dino confirmed that he hasn't been invited to the wedding and that they haven't been in touch since the breakup. Insiders seem to believe that the former Miss Universe wants to avoid any awkward moments in the wedding.

Meanwhile, the actress cum model is least bothered about her ex-boyfriends, and is excited about her bachelorette party. "15 women.....4 days.....1 mission......Paaarrrtty!!!! Here's hoping I survive my bachelorette!! ;-)" Dutta posted on her Twitter account.

Seems like these ex-files will stay shut for a while now as the wedding is probablly houseful for them. Talk of all the love going up in flames, or ex-flames in this case!

After declaring their February-marriage on Koffee With Karan, Lara is quite busy with her wedding plans. Being a Catholic Christian she will have a simple yet classy and very Victorian wedding, reveal the sources.

Mahesh and Lara share similar sensibilities and are keeping their wedding plans sober. Invitation cards are also ready and there are two occasions where Bollywood brigade is expected to turn up. One is the sangeet, on 18th February, and then the wedding on 19 Feb.

The guest list includes Lara’s various co-stars and friends from the industry. It’s heard she has invited Shahrukh Khan as well as Salman Khan. So expect a big, fat wedding with many stars and celebs.

Mahesh divorced his wife Shwetha Jaishankar recently, and Lara found true love after dating model-actor Kelly Dorjee and later Dino Morea.

Lara Dutta has injured her foot recently. The actress while shooting for an ad at the Kamalistan Studios tripped and injured her knees during a running sequence. She has also severely sprained her ankle.
A source revealed, “The shot required Lara to run around. The concept of the ad was such that the flooring had to be of green colour. There was an iron plank on the floor as well. Incidentally that was of green colour too. It was because the plank synchronized very well with the flooring that it was required for the shot. However, during the running sequence she failed to notice it and tripped over, badly injuring her knees and spraining the ankle in the process. To worsen the condition she had worn very high heels that aggravated the injury.”

The source said that Lara continued to shoot despite her injury. “She continued to shoot till late in the night. Lara found it difficult to do the running sequence initially because of the pain. But she somehow managed and completed the shot. She could have cancelled it if she wanted too, but she did want the company to suffer losses because of this accident.”
